Feels Like Spring...for now

Buds are coming up in front of our houseSitting on the porch enjoying the hot sun
Looking forward to more spring weather where I don't have to bundle up 3 kids with hats, coats, and gloves just to get out.

On our first married Valentine's Day we were snowed in...to 3 feet of snow. Today we celebrate our 5th Valentine's Day as a married couple. I can honestly say I married the absolutely right guy for me. I am more in love now then I was back then. I can't wait for the next 5!!!

A little homemade

I made most of my Christmas gifts this year but didn't get a chance to take pictures of all of them. I've been really lazy and that is why I am now posting this almost a month after Christmas. Oh well, here they are.

My mom was the recipient of a quilt

A lot of people got Christmas style hot pads
I also made my very first Christmas wreath which was given to my in laws

Homemade granola and cookie mixes were passed out as well

I really like doing homemade gifts but would like to start a little sooner for next year.


The burp cloths below were not for Christmas gifts but just to give as baby gifts to a few friends. The backs have towel like material.

Finally

A new camera!!! After many many months of saving and much deliberating I made a decision and went with the Cannon 60D. Many more pictures to come!!!!!!

Christmas Spectacular

We headed to Lynchburg to watch the Christmas Spectacular with Kurt's family. If I had a camera I would have been able to post some pictures along with this little blurb. There's my pouting. Here's my patience...I'll get one all in good time!

Anyways, we had a great time with family. Looking forward to Christmas to be together again!
